Application Engineer

Job Summary
The incumbent will provide pre-sales and technical support for the development, application and installation of products to meet customer requirements and specifications.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide pre-sales and technical support to customers and distributors; Review of project specification, valve / material selection and actuator sizing; Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions Respond and provide information on product range, prices and generate quotations in accordance with specifications/customer requirements. Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications Order review and clarifications Update of quote status in the SAP system
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical /Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 1 - 2 years experience of relevant work experience
Candidates with prior work experience in Flow Control Industry will be highly considered
Familiarity with SAP system will be an added advantage
Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may also be considered
Ability to work in a fast pace environment, multi-task and a strong team player
